I have lived off grid 3 yrs. There isn't a thing wrong with these panels--but you MUST solder all connections, with flux, and correct type solder. Then solder--shrink wrap--electrical tape, and that's it. If you don't know how to solder, I have a suggestion--learn now. It ain't rocket science. And these panels work just fine
